Angeles National Forest is next to the urban center of Los Angeles, and offers recreation and the opportunity to get away from the larger city. The Forest offers hiking, biking, fishing, horse riding, water sports, and winter sports activities.

Angeles National Forest is dog friendly, and dogs are allowed on trails, campgrounds, and throughout the forest while on a leash.
