Canaveral National Seashore is the longest undeveloped section of coast on the Florida Atlantic coast. You can experience the raw undeveloped natural beauty, visit historic sites, or watch/hear rockets launch into space from here.

Canaveral National Seashore is a somewhat dog friendly destination. Dogs are allowed on trails and on the lagoon side, but they're not allowed on the beach.

Trail Policy

Dogs are allowed on trails while on a leash no longer than 6'. They are allowed on the lagoon side up to the dune line.

Campground Policy

There are primitive campsites on the islands on the lagoon side, but dogs are not allowed.

Beach Policy

Dogs are not allowed on the beaches or boardwalks.

Road Policy

Dogs are allowed along all roads while on a leash no longer than 6'.
