Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is Dog Friendly
Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park honors the history of Civil War battles of 1863 for control of Chattanooga. The park preserves this cultural history, and has several visitor centers and a museum with historic exhibits. The battlefields themselves are also preserved, and the park encompasses nearly 10,000 acres, with more than 80 miles of trails between the two sites. Bicycling, horseback riding, paddling, and rock climbing are also popular here.
Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is dog friendly, and dogs are allowed on trails and throughout the park while on a leash no longer than 6'. Dogs are not allowed in buildings.
