Devils Tower National Monument is centered around the breathtaking feature of Devils Tower, which is a rock formation that rises up above the surrounding prairie. Northern Plains Indians and other Native Americans consider it sacred. Other than being a natural spectacle, the rock climbing is some of the finest on the continent. The monument offers hiking, climbing, and night sky viewing.

Devils Tower National Monument is somewhat dog friendly, but you'll miss out on a lot of the park bringing your dog. Dogs are not allowed on trails, but they're allowed at the campground and along the roads.
