Fort Davis National Historic Site is Dog Friendly
Fort Davis was a military outpost during the Indian Wars, and protected emigrants, mail coaches and wagons from 1854 to 1891. The National Historic Site offers a museum, hiking trails and viewing of the historic structures.
Fort Davis National Historic Site is dog friendly, and dogs are allowed on trails and at outdoor areas while on a leash. Dogs are not allowed inside buildings.

Trail Policy
Dogs are allowed on the trails while on a leash no longer than 6'. There are a variety of trails at the park, with some offering some great scenic views.
