Fort Donelson Dog Policy
Fort Donelson National Battlefield is Dog Friendly
Fort Donelson was the site of a Union victory in the American Civil War under Ulysses S. Grant that paved the way for subsequent victories at Clarksville and Nashville. The visitor center has a museum with Civil War exhibits, and there are trails throughout the park to tour the battlefield and history.
Fort Donelson is fairly dog friendly. Dogs are allowed on the grounds and on trails while on a leash. Dogs are not allowed inside buildings.
