Hovenweep National Monument is Dog Friendly
Hovenweep encompasses six Native American villages that were built between 1200 and 1300 AD. There are a variety of structures, including towers built on canyon rims. The park offers opportunities for historical exploration, hiking, stargazing, and bird-watching.
Hovenweep National Monument is dog friendly. Dogs are allowed on trails and in the campground while on a leash. Dogs are not allowed inside buildings such as the visitor center.

Campground Policy
Dogs are allowed at the campground, which is near the visitor center, and first-come, first-served.
