Jewel Cave is the third longest cave in teh world, with over 210 miles of known passages. The National Monument preserves the cave and offers cave tours, hiking outside the cave, and more.

Jewel Cave is not very dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed inside the cave, not allowed inside buildings, and not allowed on trails. They are only allowed on the limited paved roads and the picnic area next to the visitor center.

Dogs are not allowed on trails.

Road Policy

Dogs are allowed along the limited paved roads and parking lots while on a leash no longer than 6'.
