The Jimmy Carter National Historic Site is located in rural Plains, Georgia. It's the site of Jimmy Carter's childhood, including his boyhood farm, school, and the train depot.
The Jimmy Carter National Historic Site is somewhat dog friendly. Dogs are allowed on the grounds and walkway the farm, and on the grounds at Plains Depot & Plains High School. Dogs are not allowed in any buildings. Dogs may not be left unattended.
