John Muir Dog Policy
John Muir National Historic Site is Dog Friendly
John Muir National Historic Site preserves the history of multi-talented John Muir, whose writing convinced the United States to preserve lands, and start the National Park Service. There are several sections to the park, including the visitor center Muir/Strentzel house, Mount Wanda hiking area, gravesites, and Martinez Adobe.
John Muir National Historic Site is dog friendly. Dogs are allowed throughout on the grounds while on a leash, but they are not allowed inside buildings such as the Muir/Strentzel home, visitor center, etc.
