Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield is Dog Friendly
Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park preserves the history of a Civil War battleground that was part of the Atlanta Campaign. Union and Confederate forces fought here in 1864. Kennesaw Mountain also has history beyond the Civil War, and was the home of Cherokee ancestors since 1000 B.C. The Visitor Center includes a museum with lots of information on the history of the area. There are a number of hiking trails, horseback riding trails, and opportunities for vehicle touring and bird-watching here.
Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is dog friendly, and dogs are allowed on trails while on a leash no longer than 6'. Dogs are not allowed in the Visitor Center.

Trail Policy
