Lake Meredith National Recreation Area is Dog Friendly
Lake Meredith is located in the plains of the Texas Panhandle, and offers an oasis for plants and wildlife. There are large canyons carved by connected rivers, and humans lived here 13,000 years ago. Water sports, hiking, picnicking, bird-watching, camping, and fishing are popular here.

Warning: Hunting is allowed at this location. Please be aware of and familiarize yourself with hunting seasons, and exercise appropriate caution with your dog. During hunting season(s), you may also want to consider having your dog wear a blaze orange vest.
