Richmond Dog Policy

Richmond National Battlefield is Somewhat Dog Friendly

Trails
Dogs Allowed
with 6' Leash & Exceptions []

Richmond was the main Confederate manufacturing center, capital of the Confederate States of America, and had one of the South's largest hospitals. Richmond National Battlefield encompasses 13 sites around Richmond, Virginia, and preserves the history of Richmond during the American Civil War.

Richmond National Battlefield is somewhat dog friendly. Dogs are allowed on park trails while on a leash, but not allowed inside many buildings, so there are some things you'll miss out on if you bring your dog.
