The St. Croix and Namekagon Rivers flow through a forested landscape, and offers paddling, boating, fishing, and camping opportunities. The National Scenic Riverway encompasses around 200 miles of the riverways.
Saint Croix National Scenic River is dog friendly. Dogs are allowed everywhere in the park while on a leash, except in buildings. If you're boating with your dog, consider having your dog wear a life jacket for safety, and don't tie your dog to a boat.
Dogs are allowed on all trails while on a leash no longer than 6'. The National Park Service maintains seven trails here.
Warning: Hunting is allowed at this location. Please be aware of and familiarize yourself with hunting seasons, and exercise appropriate caution with your dog. During hunting season(s), you may also want to consider having your dog wear a blaze orange vest.
