Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument in the upper Las Vegas Valley is an urban park that has great views of the Mojave desert. Visitors may see some fossils exposed by erosion. You can report any fossil finds at the NPS site (please leave the actual fossils untouched).

Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument is dog friendly. Dogs are allowed in the park and on trails. Note that temperatures can rise quickly here, so make sure you have enough water for your dog, and do not leave dogs unattended.
